CentraState Healthcare System is a non-for-profit community health organization consisting of an acute-care hospital, an ambulatory care campus, three senior living communities, a Family Medicine Residency Program and a charitable foundation.

CentraState Medical Center was granted Magnet status in December 2005 and was redesignated in 2015 by the Magnet Recognition Program of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for the third consecutive time. Of the approximate 5,800 hospitals in the U.S., 7 percent hold Magnet designation, and only 2 percent have been designated for the third time as Magnet organizations.
