10th Annual Joint Nursing

Evidence - Based Practice / Research Consortium Conference

 

Friday, September 28, 2018

 

Nurses in clinical, education and administrative settings, as well as Masters and Doctoral Students are invited to submit abstracts for our annual conference.  Research and Evidence-Based Practice projects in progress are acceptable.

 

Guidelines for submission of abstracts:

 

Text of the abstract should be single spaced, 300 words or less, 12 point font, and include the following:

 

1.         Title of Study/Project

2.         Background and Significance (What is the importance of what you are doing? What gaps in research / practice are you trying to address?)

3.         Objectives / Aims (What is the purpose of the study?)

4.         Methods (Include sample size, design, methodology and analytic approach)

5.         Results (Concisely describe findings e.g. statistical findings, themes, patterns, etc.)

6.         Conclusions / Implications for Nursing Practice (Summarize important findings and next steps for research / practice)

 

Please identify the topic of your poster as it applies to one of the following list of Magnet Domains:

 

·         Transformational Leadership (TL)

·         Structural Empowerment    (SE)

·         Exemplary Professional Practice (EPP)

·         New Knowledge and Innovations  (NK)

• Applicants will be notified by September 6^th 2017, regarding the outcome of the review process.
